The investment included a general renovation of the front building and expansion with a new outbuilding. Two passenger elevators were also installed in the building. The facade of the tenement house was enriched with numerous stucco moldings, and the interiors used the highest quality materials — Italian marble floors and walls covered with oak caskets. The whole was complemented by elegant stucco, stained glass windows and an impressive glass chandelier made by masters from Italian Murano.
